Our team is looking to hire a Group Product Manager - Entra Developer & Application Platform. Did you know that Microsoft is one of the largest providers of security-as-a-service offerings? Microsoft Entra organization develops cloud based native network security and identity services that play a foundation role to protect user and resources (applications, devices and data) access in a mobile first cloud first world. Within Microsoft Entra, Entra Developer and App Platform Business Unit (BU) is looking for a Group Product Manager to join our team and help us grow our suite of offerings and expand our business portfolio. Our BU’s mission is to create a thriving developer, app, and API platform that deliver world-class security, resilience, and capabilities. If you enjoy building innovative new products for developers and admins to easily add identity-driven experiences to any app or service, with simple, intuitive, and powerful app acquisition, management, automation, and governance experiences, this could be the role for you. As a senior member of the product executive team, you will manage a group of product managers to define and drive new network security and management capabilities that delight customers, partner closely with engineering to solve complex problems and deliver customer delightful capabilities, while working closely with finance and business planning to monetize offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Define the product and product capabilities in close partnership with customers every step of the way.
  • Design and build product capabilities with engineering.
  • Engage customers to validate, design, refine product offering and enable customer adoption.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams as well as other business units within Microsoft Security division and drive alignment.
  • Work closely with product marketing and CxE (Customer Experience and Engagement) team to position offering and enable sales organization to pilot, deploy and operate offering.
  • Manage and grow a team of product managers.
  • Collaborate closely with other security controls both within and outside Microsoft with deep integrations.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • 6+ years people management experience.
  • 8+ years Product Management experience defining and shipping products, preferably in enterprise security and/or identity space.
  • 8+ years developing strategic solutions requiring participation across organizational boundaries.

Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional Or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
  • 8+ years people management experience.
  • Advanced understanding of security or networking or identity technologies and complex distributed systems or network security experience.
  • Knowledge and ability of demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements.
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-team skills.
  • Knowledge in interacting with enterprise customers, field and GTM (Go-to-market) teams.
  • People management experience as M1 or M2.
  • Participation and/or leadership in industry-wide conversations on identity or security.

Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,500 - $276,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,800 - $304,200 per year.
