The Position:

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is a hands-on position, working directly on the manufacturing floor and with the Engineering and Quality departments. S/he will be accountable for identifying opportunities, developing priorities, leading a cross-functional team, and driving results that improve operating costs, quality, on-time delivery, cycle time, and safety.

  • Provide input and recommendations for new designs and product upgrades/improvements.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement culture to ensure high-quality productivity throughout the organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to reduce operational costs, improve operator productivity, and lead times.
  • Participate in product design reviews working with Design Engineers to develop manufacturing process of new products.
  • Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes and material flow.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
  • Serve as the key technical resource for manufacturing personnel.
  • Manage manufacturing equipment maintenance purchase and installation.

About You:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and ISO 9001:2015 system experience.
  • You have a high level of mechanical & electrical aptitude and can easily learn product information.
  • You can work with a high degree of independence on projects with little or no precedence and resolve complex problems.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving are among your greatest skills.
