The Google Cloud Platform Cloud/DevOps Engineer will work as a member of the Global Engineering team to help its customers to deploy, maintain and monitor cloud-based applications and services in GCP.
Our ideal candidate will bring extensive experience supporting cloud-based infrastructure (services, instances, storage, etc.) in the Google Cloud Platform, technical expertise in automation and cloud technology, as well as excellent written and oral communications and collaboration skills and be able to engage with all levels of the business.

*GCP DevOps Engineer certification is highly preferred.
*Familiarity with other cloud providers is a plus.
*Strong infrastructure operation management skills.
*Windows and Linux operating system admin experience.
*Solid understanding of Container technology such as Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
*Strong knowledge of DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Jira, etc.
*Strong knowledge of Terraform.
*Knowledge of orchestration tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
*Strong experience with scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
*Solid understanding of network and security principles.
*Experience with cloud monitoring (security, workload, performance, cost) tools.
*Experience optimizing cloud usage costs.
*Experience developing troubleshooting and operations documentation.
