We are looking for an Atlassian Developer/Administrator in Bethesda, MD for a full-time position.

Job Details

Title: Atlassian Developer/Administrator

Location: Bethesda, MD

Client: Direct Client

Duties

1. Configure, maintain and upgrade Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
2. Responsible for bug tracking, issue tracking and project management tool
3. Support, compile and troubleshoot Atlassian tools
4. Design custom JIRA workflow
5. Manage various development tools, testing tools and monitoring tools
6. Plan, evaluate, deploy, operate and maintain tools to suit the expanding user-base
7. Provide training to technical and non-technical teams to use Atlassian tools
8. Compile and analyze development and operational bug reports
9. Troubleshooting and fixing errors common to Applications and Application servers
10. Application Deployment - Java, Standalone Custom Apps, COTS Products
11. Version Control Software Setup, Administration, Configuration (GIT, Subversion, CVS)
12. Atlassian Plugin Development using Java

Qualifications

1. Experience with administering JIRA/Confluence
2. Experience creating custom modules for JIRA/Confluence
3. Maintaining customizations across versions of JIRA/Confluence
4. Familiarity with databases and SQL competence
5. Demonstrated experiences in Unix and Linux environment
6. Demonstrated experience in writing scripts
7. Prior experience in writing Atlassian plugins using Java
8. Very good/solid knowledge of SDLC and experience working with Agile teams
9. Experience in a customer facing role
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills
