Overview
Seeking Engineer III or IV with hands-on experience in electrical and automation projects, reporting to the Maintenance Manager in a high duty manufacturing environment. The role involves managing CAPEX projects from inception to completion, supporting process optimization, and troubleshooting industrial equipment. A strong understanding of industrial safety policies, leadership, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment is required.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage CAPEX projects, including equipment monitoring, stabilization, and improvements.
• Perform detailed engineering in instrumentation, PLC, power distribution, and automation.
• Support operational improvements, troubleshoot equipment, and refine engineering procedures.
• Implement new technologies and train technical staff.
• Conduct studies to support CAPEX investments and process improvements.
• Participate in annual action plan development.
Qualifications
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of industrial experience in electrical equipment and automation.
• Project management experience in electrical controls, procurement, and installation.
• Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, NFPA) and advanced skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Skills
• Expertise in equipment design, safety standards (ANSI, ASTM), and NFPA codes.
• Strong programming with Rockwell Automation PLC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
