IOS Developer

Job Description

Duration: 3 months contract (With a strong possibility of extension)

Pay-range: $68-71/hour on W2

Hybrid: 3 days (Tues-Thurs onsite to Cupertino)

Job Requirements/Description:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field + 2 years of industry experience.
• Proficient in iOS app development using both Swift and Objective-C as well as Python for backend or scripting tasks.
• Experience with designing, developing and maintaining high-performance mobile applications with a strong focus on multithreading and optimizing performance for iOS (GCD, Operations).
• Solid understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, CoreData, Combine, etc.).
• Experience with app design principles and creating intuitive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with writing and maintaining clean, efficient, scalable code, ensuring performance optimization.
• Familiarity with all stages of the app development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with signal processing is a plus.

Skills required for this role:

Several years of Objective-C / Swift experience, strong understanding of UIKit & Foundation frameworks, experience with the Xcode & Instruments tools for debugging bugs and performance issues, AppKit knowledge is a plus, XCTest framework understanding is a plus.
