Job Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll get to:

1. Design, develop, and deploy full stack solutions with a focus on high availability, performance, and scalability.
2. Implement and maintain components within a design system to ensure consistency and reusability across the platform.
3. Optimize web applications for maximum speed, accessibility, and scalability.
4. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Being comfortable implementing MVPs without high-fidelity designs using existing components is a plus.
5. Collaborate with a Senior/Staff Backend Developer to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems and assist in the development of backend services using PHP, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS as needed.
6. Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Who You Are and What You’ll Need

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. 5-7+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies.
3. Familiarity with backend frameworks and technologies such as PHP, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS.
4. Experience implementing and maintaining components within a design system.
5. Strong understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
7. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with CI/CD practices.
2. Knowledge of security best practices for web development.
3. Experience working with large data sets and performance tuning.
4. Experience or interest in using AI tools to speed up the development process.
