A person with a track record of authoring mature and sophisticated cloud architectures. A deep understanding of the MERN stack as well as RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch. Someone who can effectively communicate and coordinate with local and remote workers. If you possess these qualities and want to create products used by thousands of people every day, PDK is for you!

Qualifications
- 5+ years in a software development role
- 3+ years of experience with the MERN stack
- 2+ years experience writing SQL queries
- Skilled at designing and implementing sophisticated server-side APIs and business logic.
- Experience in the following technologies:
- Node.JS
- Typescript
- MongoDB
- Elasticsearch
- Postgres
- RabbitMQ
- Oauth2.0 (OpenID Connect)
- The ability to rapidly consume and understand a large existing codebase.
- Someone who can effectively communicate with peers, customers, and stakeholders.
Other Beneficial skills
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Ansible
- MQTT
- Mosquitto
- Proficiency in stripe, twilio, slack and mailgun APIs
Preferred Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering a related field or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk (standing desks available)
- Working in an office environment using typical office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Travel Requirement
- Traveling less than 5% of the time.
Work Location
- On location at Draper office off I-15 just south of IKEA

Pay Rate Type: Annual salary $140,000+ based upon experience and skill
