We are seeking a talented SPLUNK Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our systems through effective monitoring and data analysis using SPLUNK.Develop, configure, and maintain SPLUNK environments for effective monitoring, logging, and analysisImplement and optimize SPLUNK queries, dashboards, and alerts to support proactive system monitoring and incident responseCollaborate with SRE and development teams to understand requirements and provide SPLUNK-based solutions for performance and reliability issuesPerform data analysis and visualization to identify trends, potential issues, and areas of improvementTroubleshoot and resolve SPLUNK related issues, including performance tuning and integration challengesDevelop and maintain documentation for SPLUNK configurations, processes, and best practicesParticipate in On-Call rotations and provide support during critical incidents to ensure system reliabilityStay updated with the latest SPLUNK features and industry best practices, and recommend improvementsUtilize Dynatrace to monitor system performance , identify bottlenecks, and optimize application and infrastructure performanceEstablish and enforce best practices for using Dynatrace and ensure optimal configuration and utilization across the organizationUse your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or at least 6 years of equivalent work experience3+ years of experience with SPLUNK deployment, administration, and troubleshooting2+ years of SPLUNK architecture, data indexing, and query language (SPL) experienceFamiliarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles and best practicesProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBe a self-starter and be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical fieldExperience with cloud platforms (Azure)Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologiesCertifications related to SPLUNK, DynatraceAdditional InformationWhy HumanaHumana offers a variety of benefits to promote the best health and well-being of our employees and their families.
