Overview:
Seyon Management (SM) was established in 2020 as a national property services firm servicing several third-party institutional clients. The firm provides property management, construction management, financial reporting and accounting, asset management, and corporate advisory services. The firm's management portfolio consists of over 12 million square feet nationally.
Seyon Management is seeking a Facilities Technician to join its team and provide support to the assigned commercial buildings within the Massachusetts portfolio. This position will be responsible for assisting the team with a wide range of tasks, providing support to the Property Management staff and other duties as listed below.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day general maintenance and housekeeping duties of the assigned building (s) within the portfolio.
- Work as part of a team to provide responsive, efficient and thorough service to all tenants.
- Respond to tenant work order requests and complete all tasks according to the service level agreements within the Property Management standards.
- Perform all periodic preventative maintenance tasks for the building operating systems. Sample of tasks to include replace filters and belts on HVAC equipment, change light bulbs and ballasts, replace flushometers and other light plumbing duties, and general maintenance for the properties.
- Work with all building vendors to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and done to the Seyon Management standard.
- Perform building inspections periodically to ensure each asset is being serviced properly by the vendors, and a clean and positive experience for all tenants is being provided.
- Communicate with tenants in a professional and courteous manner when responding to work orders and while working on building equipment inside all tenant leased premises.
- Promote a professional image through positive interactions with Tenants, Vendors and Colleagues.
Skills & Experience Required :
- Prior experience in general building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and other tasks associated with commercial office buildings.
- A high school diploma and/or vocational training is required.
- Ability to complete all tasks in a timely manner and handle after hours emergency calls and be on call as needed.
- Team oriented and possess the ability to excel in a team environment that values quality and professionalism.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Outlook Email, Building Engines or similar property management software and various other building automation software systems.
- Ability to perform manual labor. Lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and additional manual labor tasks are a requirement of this position.
- Ability to effectively communication with managers, engineers, vendors and tenants in a professional manner

Compensation details: 55000-85000 Yearly Salary
