Our client is looking for a Product Content Designer to partner with a team of Messenger designers, product managers, researchers, and product marketers to help people on Messenger connect with content and experiences relevant to them.
You’re perfect for this role if you are versatile, able to plan and write content for mobile and web interfaces, and apply consistent standards to elevate the overall quality of our client's work. You’re adept at juggling multiple requests and doing hands-on writing and editing for innovative new features; understand design thinking and user experience, and thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization that uses lightweight processes to have a huge impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write, edit, test and improve content including user interface language, education, navigational nomenclature, notifications, and other content.
- Help apply and maintain consistency by learning and applying content standards.
- Document and update content standards.
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers, and engineers to serve a global content audience.
- Share your work and give feedback to teammates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years working with content for web or mobile experiences.
- Quickly build working relationships with product managers and product designers.
- Creativity and design innovative thinking.
- Track record of having built new things, or new ideas of product market fit.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience writing consumer-facing content for iOS and Android apps.
- Experience documenting content standards and content processes.
- Please also share your portfolio or examples of your writing.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $75 – $80/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
