Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join our team to support our government clients. The candidate can be located anywhere in the United States in this remote role. In this role, you will be crucial in supporting the security and overall compliance of the risk management framework within the Department of Defense (DoD). You will closely collaborate with our Cloud Operations team to ensure Cyber compliance of Windows Systems running in the Cloud.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build DOD Compliant AWS Windows EC2 AMIs
- Ensure STIG Compliance of Windows systems
- Provide hands-on provisioning and support of Amazon EC2 Instances
- Resolve AESS/Trellix interference
- Maintain AWS Workspaces Images
- Collaborate with the EC2 Image Builder
- Use automation tools like CloudFormation and/or Terraform
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required with an active DoD clearance or previously held one
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and at least one AWS certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience (with a bachelor’s degree) working within an IT environment. 3 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a degree for a total of at least 8 years of work experience
- Must have hands-on project experience with all the following:
- Maintenance and support of Active Directory
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) & Web Single Sign-on (SSO)
- User objects, Computer objects, OU's & Policies
- Implementing GPOs for STIG Compliance
- DNS
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in working with AWS environments
- Demonstrable understanding of Windows in a Cloud Environment
- Familiarity with automation tools such as CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Ability to interpret, prioritize, and remediate Windows-related ACAS findings
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently
