Data Developer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain innovative data solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a TS/SCI clearance and exhibit strong expertise in SharePoint, Tableau, and Power BI, enabling effective data management and insightful reporting. You will work closely with a team of skilled developers and analysts to ensure our data solutions deliver maximum value and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
   - Create and implement data solutions utilizing SharePoint for content management, collaboration, and workflow automation.
   - Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making for clients.
2. Client Engagement:
   - Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and assess their data needs, translating these into effective technical solutions.
   - Provide ongoing support and communication to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with their objectives.
3. Data Management:
   - Design and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses to ensure data integrity and availability.
   - Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, including data quality checks and compliance measures.
4. Integration Solutions:
   - Develop and implement data integration solutions to streamline data flow between various systems and applications, utilizing ETL processes as needed.
   - Monitor and optimize existing data processes for performance and efficiency.
5. Analysis and Troubleshooting:
   - Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
   - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
6. Collaboration:
   - Work alongside cross-functional teams, including software developers, analysts, and project managers, to ensure cohesive project delivery.
   - Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications:

1. Security Clearance: TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
3. Technical Skills:
   - Proficiency in SharePoint development, including site design, content management, and workflow automation.
   - Strong expertise in Power BI, including report design, data visualization best practices, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
   - Experience with data modeling, database design (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), and data warehousing concepts.
   - Familiarity with ETL tools and processes, along with experience in integrating disparate data sources.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
