What You Will Do:

  1. Understand and work with Metadata Models with schema developed in semantic RDF technology.
  2. Develop and use transformational metadata crosswalks and pipelines for ingestion of descriptive metadata from repositories to DATMM.
  3. Conduct QA of metadata and interface.
  4. Develop Programmatic Access point for ingesting and exporting collection metadata.
  5. Design and implement extensions into existing discovery systems for enhanced interoperability.
  6. Develop enhancements for GUI search that retrieves data from the RDF triplestore and allows user-entered SPARQL queries.
  7. Implement development and QA systems.
  8. Lead preparation of documents associated with ATO compliance.

What You Will Need:

  1. Master’s Degree (relevant experience may substitute formal education).
  2. A minimum of FOUR (4) years of experience in Computer Programming, Information Technology, Data Processing, Management Information Systems, Statistics, and/or Computer Science.
  3. Expert knowledge of semantic web technology and SPARQL.
  4. Experience with AWS.
  5. Demonstrated experience leading technology implementations/transformations.
  6. Strong analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  7. Expert knowledge of Agile development methodology and use of Jira.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  1. Experience serving the biomedical and/or scientific community.
  2. Extensive program management skills and ability to liaise with technical and business teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on various factors including skill sets, experience, training, security clearances, and other business needs.
