We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on software testing to join our dynamic team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in preparing test plans and testing methodologies within our Payments and Security platforms in an agile development environment.
Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.
Qualifications
Must have
- Java 17+ Ability to use testing frameworks.
- Lean and Agile methods of software delivery with a complete understanding.
- Experience working with non-technical and technical stakeholders.
- Necessary for determining accurate acceptance criteria.
- Automated testing API frameworks with Java experience needed for creating automated tests.
- MySQL 5.7+ Experience with the ability to write SQL to verify data in case of issues.
- Kafka / RabbitMQ Experience in testing asynchronous and event-driven behaviors.
- API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured, Newman) with high proficiency essential for API testing.
- Containerization and management tools (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes) experience with an understanding of how they work.
Nice to have
- Datadog / Prometheus ability to introspect and debug applications using monitoring tools.
- Ensure the quality of logging.
