Who You Are – Business Intelligence Developer
You are a dynamic, detail oriented, intuitive person with the ability to develop relationships, build rapport and become a trusted team member. What You'll Do
- Develop, design, and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to meet user needs.
- Interpret financial data and analyze results using statistical techniques to provide ongoing reports.
- Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to gather and define business requirements and system goals.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Work closely with the IT department to advocate for data governance and quality.
- Train and support staff in using PowerBI reports to drive business decisions.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or related / relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services with a demonstrated proficiency in PowerBI specifically.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Proven ability to drive business results through data-driven insights and analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft PowerBI Developer, or equivalent, are a plus.
- Banking / credit union experience a major plus.
- Tableau and other BI tool experience (Qlik, etc.) also a plus.
