We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI. You will work closely with business users to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality, data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Create efficient data models to support self-service reporting.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their data and reporting needs.
- Develop and optimize complex DAX queries for improved performance.
- Integrate Power BI with other data sources, such as SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
- Implement row-level security and data governance best practices in the Power BI environment.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across reports.
- Troubleshoot and perform performance tuning of Power BI solutions.
- Document technical specifications and maintain project documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and M language.
- Experience with data modeling and designing ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
- Experience with Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $55 - $65/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered
