Do you have a background in engineering and a desire to support best-in-class data cloud and large-scale distributed systems for big data processing in the cloud? We are seeking skilled and driven individuals to join our team.
We are looking for experienced software engineers to help us expand our fully managed secure data visualization service. Our customers rely on our service to query, correlate, and visualize operational metrics, logs, and traces from multiple sources. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging scalability, performance, and distributed computing issues while contributing to open source and running a fully managed scalable service at AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test new product features using Go, Kotlin, and TypeScript
- Operate and maintain a globally available 24x7 service
- Contribute to open source software, especially for projects in the observability space
- Collaborate with other team members to improve software best practices
- Mentor and support the career growth of team members
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor or leading an engineering team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Go, TypeScript, Kotlin
- Experience with building large-scale systems in a distributed environment
- Experience with AWS services
- Contribution to open-source projects and experience with Grafana & Prometheus
