Pay Rate: $66 - $70/hr on W2 + Benefits
Responsibilities:
Generally focused on the look, feel, operation, user experience and functionality of a commercial website. Creates internal/external company web pages including graphics, animation and functionality. Designs web page layout and online content, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, content and infrastructure for new product release and new web-hosted product offering. Performs development and maintenance programming for web pages and web applications. Performs web usability testing. Partners with Web Administrator to implement pages or applications into production. Assures web server and site technical performance. Develops, assesses and communicates website usage and security policies and standards. Provides technical assistance to Site Administrators. May assist in the planning of overall company strategy involving Internet usage. May make hardware and/or software purchasing recommendations or decisions regarding web development. May perform overall administration of sites at a company-wide level. Requires knowledge of commercial internet/web tools and protocols.
Primary Function of Position
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and validating user interfaces for our rapidly evolving Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot and multi-agentic applications. The role involves hands-on work in both UI/UX design and front-end development, ensuring seamless integration of new features, multiple Knowledge Bases, and multi-agent applications. The Senior AI UI/UX Engineer will work autonomously to identify solutions to given problems and align their work with our future vision. The individual will be expected to validate their solutions from a UX perspective and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.
Essential Job Duties
- Design and implement UI for a RAG-based chatbot, ensuring scalability with continuous feature development and document ingestion.
- Develop multi-agentic applications within our GenAI portfolio, focusing on user-friendly, client interfaces.
- Validate UI solutions through UX testing, user feedback, and data-driven evaluations
- Collaborate closely with the application development team to ensure seamless UI implementation and feature integration.
- Take a hands-on approach to UI development, being instrumental in ensuring smooth application development and the flow of new features.
- Bridge the gap between design and implementation with clear communication of requirements and design rationale to developers.
- Prototype and implement strong technical solutions that align with user experience and business needs.
- Conduct usability testing, evaluate feedback, and iterate design solutions to improve user satisfaction and performance.
- Collaborate with product owners, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
- Provide design solutions autonomously, ensuring alignment with both current problems and future visions of the product.
- Maintain design consistency while managing the complexity and scope of multi-agent systems and evolving chatbot functionalities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in UI/UX design and front-end technologies, incorporating best practices into the design process.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development, preferably in designing enterprise-level applications or systems.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js).
- Extensive experience in user experience validation through usability testing, A/B testing, and feedback loops.
- Ability to create high-fidelity designs and prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Experience designing and developing multi-agentic applications or complex systems with multiple integrations.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in problem-solving and solution development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate technical requirements into user-friendly designs.
Required Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with chatbot development, particularly using RAG techniques or similar.
- Knowledge of multi-agent systems, AI/ML, and their application in enhancing user experiences.
- Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform or other cloud-based development environments.
