Scada Engineer

• Contract - Ignition SCADA Developer
• Duration: 4-6 Months, Strong possibility of extension
• Location: Asheville, Onsite. Travel expenses can be covered

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and a deep understanding of HMI systems design. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA solutions for clients in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems and HMI interfaces
• Configure and troubleshoot SCADA software and hardware
• Integrate SCADA systems with other industrial automation components
• Provide technical support to clients and end-users within office hours

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in SCADA system design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of SCADA software (e.g. Ignition)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, or Python
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive or aerospace industries.
• Certifications in Inductive Automation (Gold Partner, 8.1), Or competing SCADA.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols.
