What You'll Do: We are seeking an inspirational and innovative Senior Solutions Engineering Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Solutions Engineering Leader Cloud & AI, you will be responsible for leading a highly specialized Solutions Engineering team that is architecting our Cloud & AI solutions for consumption in the US Public Sector Theater. These solutions will accommodate both cloud and on-premise workloads customized for performance and meeting business requirements of the US Public Sector. This role requires extensive leadership experience, a deep understanding of Cloud + AI technologies, and a strong ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts to a diverse audience.

Who You'll Work With: The Cloud + AI Specialist team delivers one scalable strategy with local execution for data center customer transformation and growth. We are the worldwide go-to-market compute and data center networking engine bringing together market transitions and empowering sellers to fuel growth for customers and Cisco. Alongside our colleagues, Cloud & AI Infrastructure builds the sales strategy, activates sellers and technical communities, and accelerates selling.

Who You Are: You'll have the ability to own the team that will develop and execute a solution lead business outcome strategy to achieve sales targets for AI products and services. Develop relationships with key decision-makers. You will need to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Minimum Requirements:

1. 5+ years directly running a technology pre-sales engineering organization and leading cross-functional teams.
2. 10+ years in technology pre-sales engineering, preferably with a focus on AI, machine learning, data center + compute architectures or related fields.
3. Validated knowledge of AI technology, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

Preferred Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
2. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
3. Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value for clients.
4. Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and needs related to AI.
5. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, product development, channel and solutions partners, and customer success, to align sales strategies and improve customer experiences.
