Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with expertise in automation testing. This role is perfect for candidates with a strong background in web services automation and a solid understanding of modern testing frameworks. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web services using SOAP protocols.
- Work with Java-based frameworks such as JBehave and TestNG to create comprehensive automated test suites.
- Implement and enhance TDD/BDD frameworks to ensure seamless integration of testing processes into the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve defects early in the software development process.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency.
- Work with version control tools such as GitHub/GitLab to manage codebase and CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in test coverage and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in automation testing with a focus on web services automation.
- Expertise in SOAP web services automation is a must.
- Strong knowledge of Java and experience working with JBehave and TestNG frameworks.
- Proficiency in TDD/BDD methodologies and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools like GitHub or GitLab is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing.
Knowledge of additional testing frameworks and tools will be an advantage.
