DevOps Engineering Lead

We are looking to hire a DevOps Lead who will be an integral part of our team.

About this role

As the DevOps lead at Normalyze, you will have an opportunity to build the next generation of cloud and data security solutions. You’ll deploy, automate and monitor Normalyze solutions and applications to guarantee high availability and performance of Normalyze’s services in a secure and efficient manner. Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in operating services in AWS
  • Strong experience in working with micro-service architecture & cloud-native services
  • Experience using observability tools for log management, metrics, alerting etc
  • Ability to analyze and understand system interactions quickly.
  • A good sense of database performance monitoring
  • Building and setting up new infrastructure as code
  • Working on ways to automate and improve deployment and related processes
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against threats
  • Identifying technical problems, strong ability to troubleshoot live production issues and developing software updates
  • Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in a DevOps capacity
  • Advanced experience in AWS
  • Experience with CI & CD pipeline set up with configuration management using open source tools
  • Experience in production hardened deployments
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Good knowledge in shell scripts and Linux commands
