Senior Civil Engineer (Mining)

Weare looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Mining) to work within our mining sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company. This is a full-time or part-time position that will be closely affiliated with our growing mining practice servicing Nevada .
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will:

• Lead project execution to meet technical, quality, budgetary and scheduling requirements.
• Direct projects from scoping through final deliverables.
• Prepare planning level and final designs for mine components, including stormwater designs, haul roads, leach pads, tailings storage facilities, and mine closure plans including detailed design.
• Understand client needs and be able to develop strong client relationships.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Work with and support technical leads on all aspects of affiliated projects to address client goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client deliverables.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering desirable but not required.
• 15+ years of professional services consulting experience that includes execution of feasibility, prefeasibility and/or trade-off studies and engineering evaluations, mine design from development planning to closure, and presentation of technical solutions in a variety of written and oral formats.
• Direct experience with mining and the mining industry required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage work on time and within budget.
• Professional registration (PE) strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient at writing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
• Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in industry standard software.
• Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail is expected.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, flexibility, and willingness to take personal ownership of projects and see them through to completion are a must.
