Title: Application Support Engineer

Location: Ruther ford, NJ / Tampa, FL (Hybrid from day 1)


Leaf skill: Oracle Flexcube, Kafka, scripting


  • 7-11 years’ experience in an Application Support role.
  • Experience in Oracle Flexcube with good Knowledge of Core Account Batches, Interfaces,
  • Experience or Knowledge of messaging tool- Kafka, EMS, Fuse, Talend administration
  • Experience in trouble shooting and setting up new configuration in NDM, MQ, FTP, Kafka, SFTP file transmission.
  • Good Understanding and hands-on in JIRA, Confluence,
  • Good understanding about ITRS Monitoring, Kibana, AppDynamics, Splunk,
  • Good experience on job scheduling tool- Autosys.
  • Working experience in Oracle Database, restores, Backups and Performance tunning
  • Good understanding about DevOps- Jenkins or UCS-uDeploy tool.
  • Strong communication skills and very good team player.

Responsibilities :

  • Experience with Unix/Power Shell scripting
  • Issue tracking and reporting using tools
  • Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.
  • Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams
  • Ability to plan and organize workload
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder
  • Proficient in SQL using Oracle and SQL server DB
  • Java Web application support experience especially with WebSphere/Tomcat/Weblogic environment
  • Experience with supporting Java web applications using – Openshift(Containers), Couchbase, MongoDB
  • Understanding for Content Delivery Networks like Akamai, Firewalls and Load Balancers
  • Middleware exposure including NDM configuration experience, SFTP knowledge and MQ configuration knowledge
  • Experience with monitoring tools ITRS Geneos monitoring tool, Kibana, AppDynamics and Splunk Tool Sets
  • Experience with scheduling jobs using Autosys tool
  • Experience with Scrum methodologies and JIRA
