Your Role on Our Team
The Sr. Software Engineer will work as a member of an agile software development team that is responsible for building and maintaining custom web applications for Milwaukee Tool. The Sr. Software Engineer will participate in agile ceremonies and help facilitate good practices throughout the SDLC.
You’ll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties And Responsibilities
- Hands on design and development of applications using technologies such as .NET/React.
- Work as a member of an agile software development team.
- Enhance and support existing applications.
- Troubleshoot problems identified by users.
- Collaborate with lead developers and analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions.
- Advocate for adherence to standards on the development team.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- .NET Core
- React.js or similar JavaScript framework
- SQL
- Azure/Cloud Experience
- Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code frameworks
- Git or other source control
- Azure Dev Ops or similar CICD tools
- Some experience in Azure AI Services/Azure Cognitive Search
- Object-oriented and relational database development skills
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
