A Day in the Life:

• Develop & Innovate: Design and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, solving real-world challenges.
• Problem Solving: Utilize your expertise in C++ and multi-threaded programming to tackle issues like real-time operations and large data manipulation .
• Test & Refine: Review software components, conduct thorough testing, and document test results to ensure high-quality performance.
• Optimize & Improve: Provide input into system design, make hardware/software trade-offs, and integrate Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) components.
• Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with fellow engineers and stakeholders to create robust and efficient software systems.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience with C++ and multi-threaded programming , driving the development of software for real-time systems and data-intensive applications .
• Expertise in UNIX/LINUX operating systems , including RedHat or CentOS .
• Proven ability to develop and implement system configuration scripts in Python , ksh , csh , Bourne , and Bash .
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with software engineering methods , real-time systems, and signals analysis .
• Excellent customer relationship skills , including experience managing requirements and addressing feature requests.

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in software engineering ; or 11+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
