Your Java concurrency expertise is needed to bolster the production environment:

• Large-scale, distributed system with thousands of machines and petabytes of data.
• Engage with cutting-edge Big Data and Machine Learning applications and supporting infrastructure such as Spark, Redshift, and Kinesis.
• Build systems for massive scale and collaborate with top talent.
• Java is your primary language, but you are a true computer scientist who understands the fundamentals and is open to newer functional programming languages (Scala, Haskell, etc.).
• Software engineering is not just a job; it is your passion.
• Deep experience in multithreading, real-time programming, and performance optimization techniques.
• Comfortable with various AWS services.
• Experience working within the Hadoop / Big Data ecosystem.
