A Quality Engineer (MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) job in Mentor, Ohio is available courtesy of Akkodis. This is a hands-on Quality Engineer position, working with production personnel, implementing effective measurement and inspection techniques and fostering inter-departmental coordination to improve process efficiency and product quality.In this position you will oversee the maintenance, design, development and optimization of the Quality System Processes.
Pay: $85,000 - $90,000
Quality Engineer job responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System
- Process Development and Improvement – working with customer and organization
- Quality control – conduct routine measurements and tests to minimize non-conformance & address customer complaints
- Testing and calibration and Continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Previous Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in root cause analysis techniques
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 QMS requirements
- Expertise in developing and improving manufacturing processes and control checks
