The Role

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall management, administration, and governance of the Microsoft Power Platform. You will play a critical role in ensuring the platform's stability, reliability, and security. This role will require a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. This position includes the support and training of our Lumen Maker community. The position will also be responsible for assisting with or fully integrating these solutions with other Microsoft 365 products and services, external data sources, and APIs.

Location

This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.

The Main Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the daily operations, performance, and capacity of the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring optimal functionality and availability.
  2. Administer user access, permissions, and roles within the Microsoft Power Platform to ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards.
  3. Develop and implement governance policies, standards, and best practices for the Microsoft Power Platform, including data security, data governance, and compliance.
  4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  5. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform administration, governance, and user guides. Conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications:

  1. Major/Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree.
  2. 5+ years of experience in managing and administering Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform administration, including user management, security, and data governance.
  4. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 products and services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
  5. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Microsoft Power Platform certification is preferred.
  2. Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

  1. $94420 - $125890 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.
  2. $99390 - $132510 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.
  3. $104360 - $139140 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.
  4. $109330 - $145770 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
