As an electrical designer at Henderson Engineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to our six market various sectors, including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue. Within each sector, we seamlessly integrate our engineering knowledge with the in-the-field experience of our sister company, Henderson Building Solutions, to deliver a client experience unlike any other in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs calculations and designs basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced design staff.
- Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
- Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
- Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for projects.
- Supports business development or pursuit activities.
- Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Occasionally visits job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
- Seeks to fill gaps in industry and/or discipline knowledge on a continuous basis.
- Maintains knowledge of common industry software, including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 2+ years of experience without degree required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu software preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Los Angeles Salary Range: $62,540 - $93,810
Las Vegas Salary Range: $56,609 - $84,914
Denver Salary Range: $62,540 - $93,810
New York Salary Range: $65,775 - $98,662
Philadelphia Salary Range: $59,305 - $88,957
