About the Role: We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our team and lead the development of innovative solutions for our customers. This position will involve approximately 80% software engineering and 20% data science, using Go, TensorFlow, PostgreSQL, and various Google Cloud Platform tools. As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining the frontier of logistics optimization, supply prediction, and demand prediction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solve complex problems using mechanistic and statistical approaches
- Develop new methods to optimize supply chains
- Enhance logistics simulations and market optimization algorithms
- Implement predictive models for commodity demand, supply availability, estimated arrival times, and potential delays
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in designing and implementing AI tools using Go
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
- Strong background in algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, and artificial neural networks
- Ability to execute tasks independently and solve problems efficiently
- Familiarity with function/path optimization and algorithms like linear programming, BOBYQA, A Search, and simulated annealing
- An advanced degree in a quantitative field
Compensation: $120-180k
