Responsibilities:
In this role, you will get to contribute to Space Command and Control (C2) capability development, and provide credible advice to the Government customers in Missile Defense Agency C2BMC, SPACE Community C2, and Combatant Commander Staffs on a daily basis. Responsibilities include:
- Leads a group of project teams in the application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
- Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Master's degree and 12+ years of experience supporting missile defense programs or other related defense programs. (A Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of Master’s degree)
- Active Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System and the Space Command and Control organization.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Ability to work with various levels of Warfighting Staff by providing Information that can be turned into knowledge.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must also possess the ability to perform in a lead capacity.
- Have an understanding of the Overhead Persistent Inferred Capability and how it supports the C2BMC Program.
