Hybrid Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday required in office. Stewart also offers a 4/9 schedule with ½ days on Friday.
The Transportation Team at Stewart is comprised of passionate engineers, designers, and planners committed to delivering high quality, efficient, and effective services to our clients. Our transportation engineering services include NEPA/SEPA planning, public involvement, roadway design, structure design, traffic management, pavement marking plans, signing plans, utility construction design, and utility coordination. We have a diverse portfolio of projects that include interchange reconfigurations, new location roadways, multi-lane widening, reduced conflict intersection design, intersection improvements, pedestrian bridge design, highway bridge, and culvert design. Our strength is our collaborative approach to innovation in our planning, design, and delivery methods used to serve our clients. Position Highlights:
Our Transportation Engineering team is growing and seeking a talented Project Manager of Transportation to join our Transportation group. In this exciting role, you will lead the design effort and manage the delivery of complex projects, including roadway plans, traffic management plans, pavement marking plans, and signing plans. Utilizing MicroStation, your projects will range from bridge replacements to multi-lane widening projects to interchange designs.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), required.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience supporting or working in the Transportation Engineering industry.
- Proficient in MicroStation, Geopak, and Corridor Modelling, required.
- Strong written and oral communications skills, required.
- Valid driver’s license, required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Open Roads Designer (ORD), preferred.
- Experience working with NCDOT, preferred.
