Sr. Software Engineer, Web

Creating a great customer experience through delightful mobile and web applications is core to NinjaTrader's success. As an accomplished senior software engineer, reporting to the Software Engineering Manager (Web), this is a terrific opportunity to join a fast-growing, exciting company and work alongside a dedicated team of professionals building innovative and seamless financial experiences.

In this role, you will:

1. Design and develop robust and scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and other web technologies
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
3. Implement best practices for code quality, performance, security, observability, and documentation
4. Participate in agile ceremonies, lead technical discussions, and serve as a role model to the team
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack including root cause investigation and analysis
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend relevant tools and frameworks
7. Participate in architecture and code modernization planning and help drive implementation

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development
3. Deep understanding of React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
4. Strong desire to work in the futures industry and develop cutting-edge trading applications
5. Knowledge of modern frontend/fullstack architecture patterns and concepts
6. Experience working with RESTful APIs, state management libraries, design systems, and content management systems
7. Experience with Webpack, Google Cloud Platform, GitHub Actions, JIRA, and Recoil preferred
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills
