Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Traffic Project Manager with expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to lead and manage complex traffic engineering projects. This role is critical in shaping transportation solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of ITS projects from concept through execution.
- Manage project teams, ensuring timely delivery within budget while meeting client expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to identify project needs and deliver innovative solutions.
- Conduct traffic analysis, modeling, and simulation to support project objectives.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in ITS technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on ITS projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) licensure preferred.
- Proven project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in traffic analysis software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
