Qualifications:
As a preferred candidate you will have achieved the following accomplishments and possess these skills:
- Familiarity with or proven experience in the delivery of high quality solutions utilizing Java (JEE), JavaScript, Java Batch, Springboot, DB2 SQL, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful).
- Familiarity with Rational Software Architect (RSA) or Eclipse, GIT, Maven, Rally (or equivalent tool), ReadyAPI (or equivalent tool), WebSphere Application Servers (WAS – Traditional and Liberty).
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with architecture staff to establish and support coding standards and guidelines.
- Experience promoting teamwork and supporting development activities including system integration and performance management within a formal SDLC environment.
- Participate in design and code review discussions.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Superior analytical and deductive reasoning skills along with the ability to make decisions independently or with minimal direction.
- An upbeat attitude, along with a high level of energy focused towards meeting milestones and moving projects forward.
- A desire to exceed customer expectations and foster positive working relationships.

Education:
- Bachelors degree or completion of a computer science program from a Technical school preferred. Training in ITIL, COBIT, AGILE is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in application development, with a thorough knowledge of at least one programming language, is required.
Position level will be determined upon hire.
Compensation:
BCBSKS IT&S Grade 16
Minimum Salary starting at $86,320
Salary determined based on education, skills and experience.
