Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
2. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
3. Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions that are highly creative.
4. Works with minimal/limited consultative direction toward predetermined long-range plans and objectives.
5. Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
6. Applies experience toward establishing long-range plans and objectives.
7. Leads a technically and experientially diverse team.
8. Designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications which contribute to new product/business opportunities.
9. Participates in efforts to capture new business through technical work and capability briefings.
10. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
2. IAT Level II certification
3. BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
4. Ten years’ experience designing and implementing information management systems
5. Three years within the past five years of experience in technical research and development that enables continuing innovation within the infrastructure
6. Three years within the past five years of demonstrated experience in product development, to include direct control and responsibility over subordinate developers working the development of a web-based, as well as data intensive system.
7. Three years within the past five years of experience with provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and/or continuous delivery environment using automated deployment and testing frameworks.
8. Three years within the past five years of experience with commercial cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure), containers, server-less architecture, micro-services, web services, and RESTful API design
