About Job
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our electrical client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estimating commercial and industrial projects valued at $7 million and above. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the electrical field, materials, and construction methods, as well as familiarity with the N.E.C and local codes.
Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate costs for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment
• Prepare detailed cost analysis and comprehensive bid proposals
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and competitive bids
• Utilize industry-leading estimating software (Accubid, Conest) to develop and manage estimates
• Stay current with industry standards, N.E.C, and local codes
• Provide ongoing support and updates to project managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current market conditions and trends in the electrical industry

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and/or industrial projects
• Proven experience estimating projects valued at $7 million and above
• Thorough knowledge of electrical field materials and construction methods
• Familiarity with N.E.C and local codes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with industry-leading estimating software (Accubid, Conest)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
