Job Overview:

The Software Engineer will be a key member of the Digital team which is instrumental in delivering customer facing software. This individual has a passion for continuous learning and using technology to solve problems at their root. The person in this role will work directly with the Product Manager, Internal Stakeholders, and Customers to create software that revolutionizes the home buying, selling, and refinancing process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop cloud applications using NodeJS, Docker, Kubernetes, Queuing, Serverless
  2. Design and development of database models (Cloud based Microsoft SQL Server and Schemaless)
  3. Setup API Integrations with various 3rd parties that enable and optimize business processes
  4. Support and maintain existing systems (C# .Net Framework/.NetCore)
  5. Implement automated dev-ops deployments with CI/CD best practices
  6. Provide test coverage including unit and automated tests
  7. Ability to consistently produce high-quality deliverables in a timely cadence
  8. Agile story development and progression with technical and business stakeholders
  9. Team orientation, but ability to deliver independently with good communication skills
  10. Lead on designated applications to ensure best practices are in place and followed

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  2. NodeJs/Express (MEAN/MERN) and/or C#/.NetCore/NET Framework/WebAPI/EF/LINQ/IIS
  3. Azure DevOps/Git - release and branching strategies, pull requests. build and release scripts
  4. SQL Server and/or schemaless dbs (MongoDb or Redis)
  5. Working knowledge of CICD pipeline development and adherence
  6. Strong understanding of REST principles
  7. Working knowledge of a microservice architecture
