A leading construction business based in Columbus, Ohio is looking for an Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. This award winning business predominantly serves the new housing construction market and is renowned for it’s craftsmanship and project management.
The Role
As an Electrical Estimator you’ll read construction drawings and specifications whilst determining total costs for projects and preparing bids and proposals. You’ll also choose appropriate materials, verify prices, check contractors, and calculate profits on a given project and meet with contractors, builders, owners and engineers on the relevant jobs.

In order to succeed in the role of Electrical Estimator you’ll need to have experience of a similar estimating role (5+ years) along with, ideally, experience of Bluebeam and Accubid. Any knowledge of electrical installations, LV systems estimating and design/build estimating will certainly hold you in good stead. Industry wise, commercial or residential construction (especially multi-family) experience is essential (industrial construction experience only would not be suitable for this position).
