My client is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the operation and management of critical systems in our data center, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and hardware. This role requires significant hands-on experience with hardware systems specific to data centers, as you will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing performance across various technologies . You will act as the primary escalation point for facilities-related issues, provide guidance and training to Engineering Operations Technicians, and collaborate with the Facility Manager to foster a strong team culture. Additionally, you will assist in the build-out of new facilities and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management within a data center environment, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
