Primary Purpose:

• Perform administrative and technical clerical duties for the Environmental Health and Safety Department (EHS).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily audits and inspections of safety programs, equipment, and behavioral safety; maintain documentation and follow-up.
• Schedule and coordinate safety training and program-related medical evaluations.
• Manage real-time data on safety using spreadsheets and track safety calculations.
• Train employees on basic safety topics such as forklift operation, fall protection, lockout tag out, and confined space safety.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety-related field or at least 5 years of experience in Occupational Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene.
• Ability to type at least 55 words per minute, prioritize workload, and communicate effectively with all levels.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred:

• OSHA related technical certifications.
