Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation processes. You will work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to streamline our software delivery process, improve system reliability, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in design and implementation of large scale infrastructure.
  • Develop and support Chef Cookbook.
  • Experience on Inspec and Test Kitchen.
  • Experience on Chef Vaults, Roles, Environments and Runlist in CHEF.
  • Develop and support Jenkins pipeline.
  • Chef Client troubleshooting on RHEL and Windows.
  • Assistance on Chef Client Deployment and related Incidents.
  • Support Chef Infrastructure.
  • Understanding CI/CD pipeline and code development process.
  • Basic Knowledge on Linux and Windows Server.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Willingness to practice DevOps Principles.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Additional Skills - Experience on GitHub, Service Now, JIRA.
  • Experience on Ruby / Ansible / AWS / Azure / GCP / Terraform / Docker.
  • Experience on Shell Scripting / PowerShell Scripting.

Terraform

  • Minimum 10 years overall cloud experience with minimum 7 years experience on AWS cloud. Minimum 5 years experience in Terraform.
  • Mature enough to understand the importance of application architecture in coding to Terraform and understand what services connect to what. Experience working in a large project setting understanding how different modules of an app work with each other. Preferably has worked in microservices architecture setting.
  • Experience beyond EC2, S3 etc. Should have extensively worked on multiple AWS projects.
  • Very strong with AWS IAM policies, roles, and permissions.
  • Expert with Git and branching technologies. Knowledge beyond just basic branching. Should be well versed with releases, squashing, merging, pull requests, roll-backs.
  • Hands-on with Terraform for AWS, module creation, maps, remote states, importing infra into Terraform.
  • Hands-on with consuming and connecting to APIs. Should understand microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on with Python and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on with Azure Repos and Azure DevOps and integration of Azure DevOps to AWS via Terraform.
