Mid-level front-end developer
Responsibilities
- A successful candidate will have a strong software development background - specifically with TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript, and Java, as well as CSS/HTML/LESS.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex software engineering activities.
- Prioritize software development projects, set timelines, and assign tasks to team members.
- Create wireframes, test environments, design documents, and other documents as prescribed by the federal government.
- Provide and communicate complex technology solutions across technical, managerial, and customer audiences.
- Responsible for rapid development and prototyping of analytical processes in support of several client initiatives.
- Develop user interfaces written against popular JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop RESTful web services that host data to production systems.
- Assist in the monitoring and management of deployed environments.
- B.S. in computer science or related field.
- Working knowledge of popular JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
- Working knowledge of various methodologies for deploying applications against cloud technologies.
- Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards, understanding of design principles and interface guidelines.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.
- Working knowledge of cloud development and implementation practices and capabilities, including HTTP, synchronous and asynchronous processing, highly available and resilient modeling/engineering.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Experience mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers in best practices and concepts.
- Relevant IT certifications, preferably AWS certifications.
