The products we make fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food and feed preservation.What will you do?Operation of assigned production unit in compliance with established policies, procedures, permits and regulatory requirements.Meeting or exceeding performance standards of assigned production unit including production rate, on-stream time, and raw material efficiency.Meeting or exceeding quality specifications for manufactured products.Prioritization and resolution of manufacturing difficulties (process or mechanical).Continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability and responsiveness to the customer.Control of working capital and the promotion of inventory control principles.Maintaining records pertinent to unit operations, preparing regular performance reports, communicating throughout the organization, and convening regular meetings with operating personnel.Training of assigned personnel and support of these requirements for outside contractors.Control of finished goods including satisfactory delivery to the customer.Control of period costs.Selection of new personnel, performance appraisals, and disciplinary action.Maintaining a safe and orderly workplace.Personal and professional development of skills.What will you need to be successful?B.S. in engineering or equivalent.Chemical processing knowledge required.3+ years of experience as a production engineer in the specialty chemical or other manufacturing / processing industry.Required knowledge in process development methodologies, PFD and P&ID development.Skills and Abilities: Analytical, decisive, multi-tasked, and goal oriented with the ability to manage time and resources.Compensation DataThe typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).Kerry is an equal opportunity employer.
