LHH Recruitment Solutions is on the lookout for a seasoned and dynamic Engineering Manager to spearhead our client’s engineering team and drive the innovation of cutting-edge products. This pivotal role involves overseeing the engineering department to ensure the successful design, development, and production of both industrial and consumer products. We seek a professional with a minimum of 15 years of engineering experience, with a robust background in both design and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of new products and enhancements to existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals, and initiatives that align with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the engineering team.
- Stay current with advancements in engineering technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, focusing on the design and manufacture of industrial and/or consumer products.
- Proven leadership and management experience in an engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing techniques, and quality control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
