Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer for our Network Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong DevOps background, as well as experience in system administration and network infrastructure. This person will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our infrastructure to support our growing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Design, Implementation and Management
- Networking expertise – WAN/LAN
- Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure
- Server deployment and maintenance (Windows Server, Linux)
- DevOps Infrastructure
- Containerization (Docker, LXC)
- Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS)
- Git/Github
- Python app development (Flask/Django)
- Infrastructure automation systems (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
- Technical Lead
- Coordinate and work major issue resolution
- Act as an escalation point for internal and client-facing issues
- Assist in development and planning for long term team goals and deliverables
- Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers and IT support.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to internal teams as needed.
Education, Skills, and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge of system administration, network protocols, and security best practices.
- Experience with DevOps focused languages (e.g., Python and JavaScript)
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
