Job Description: Database Developer

Job Title: Database Developer (Oracle, SQL Server)
Job location: Westlake TX, Boston, Merrimack, NH, Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Mississauga, Canada)
Job description:
Capgemini is seeking a strong Database Developer with good experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and ETL processes for our ongoing project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Good experience in writing complex SQL & PL/SQL queries
  • Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases, specifically experience in transforming native SQL Server queries to Oracle
  • Solving migration code issues in Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience in data migration from one platform to another
  • Good understanding of validation and reconciliation processes when doing data migrations
  • Expert level understanding of database data warehousing and data modeling concepts
  • Hands-on experience in performance tuning optimization
  • Good knowledge of ETL concepts design
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in client environments
  • Basic understanding of Python/R
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Snowflake AWS) is a nice to have

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of database developer experience in Oracle and SQL Server
  • Good experience in ETL processes, performance optimization, and migration
