ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Software Engineer who thrives as a T-shaped individual—bringing deep technical expertise in software engineering while also possessing a broad range of skills that allow them to creatively tackle diverse challenges. The ideal candidate is highly innovative, with a passion for solving complex problems across various domains, all while maintaining a high standard of engineering excellence.

In this role, you will collaborate with other team members to design and implement solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible. You will be expected to bring both creativity and technical rigor to the table, ensuring that every solution is not only effective but also built to the highest standards.

ABOUT REEVO:

The sales platforms software market is projected to grow from $72 billion in 2022 to $193 billion in 2032, driven by the demand for digital sales tools. Out of the total sales tech market, CRM makes up $46 billion.

However, Sales orgs have bloated tech stacks ranging from 10 (sales org of ~25 people) to 50+ (sales org of ~250 people) different point solutions. Companies are looking to significantly simplify their tech stack and have it work for them instead of the other way around. Every sales tool claims to create an all-in-one revenue platform, but nobody is fulfilling that promise.

This tech stack is costly and hinders sales productivity:

  1. Productivity lost - when reps update CRM, it takes 2-4 hours / week through the help of UX tools
  2. Revenue lost - CRM data is “garbage in, garbage out” and CRM’s data visualization / drill-down capabilities are very poor. Visibility into what’s working and what’s not is very low. This means no predictive or real-time insights to guide executives in decision-making.
  3. Software cost - adding tools that marginally helps sales team productivity
  4. Headcount cost - hiring Sales / Revenue Ops teams just to wrangle the tech stack and surface insights

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

By working alongside your Reevo teammates and customers, you'll turn customer insights into robust, scalable software solutions within a creative environment that demands both proven leadership skills and the ability to execute a strategic vision.

More responsibilities in detail:

  1. Partner with internal teams to gather product requirements and understand user needs.
  2. Analyze how new software solutions meet market demands and align with user expectations.
  3. Participate in driving the roadmap for the 0 to 1 creation of new software products.
  4. Identify opportunities for technical improvement and innovation based on user feedback to achieve product-market fit.
  5. Stay informed on trends in the competitive landscape, including the latest technologies and frameworks.
  6. Collaborate closely with other team members to suggest and implement enhancements for products and processes.
  7. Present technical plus product concepts and solutions to the larger team.
  8. Follow coding practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable software.
  9. Rapidly iterate on software designs and implementations, from concept to deployment.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  1. B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent.
  2. Experience in frontend development in B2B SaaS, a plus.
  3. Proficiency in Typescript, React, Node.js, and preferably Next.js.
  4. Experience in maintaining coding standards or best practices.
  5. An intuitive understanding of technical challenges, often anticipating issues before they arise.
  6. Highly creative, with a talent for devising novel solutions to complex technical problems.
  7. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality code and systems.
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively alongside cross-functional team members.
  9. Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data to inform technical decisions.
  10. Strong communication skills, with the ability to persuasively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  11. A passion for engineering excellence, always striving to improve and innovate beyond the status quo.
  12. A forward-thinking approach, recommending new tools and technologies by staying updated on the latest trends and techniques in software development.
